It's seen better days.

I WANT MY MUMMY!

Alaska will be jealous. They only have a formerly frozen bison.

Similar finds were reported during the Klondike Gold Rush beginning in 1898, but the miners tossed them aside to get the gold.

According to some, the fresher mammoth carcasses that were unearthed by gold miners were eaten.

( singing ) " What would you do for a Frozen Baby Mammoth Bar ? "

When the Trans-Siberian railroad was being built they deiced so many mammoth carcasses that the meat was readily available in the markets of Paris.

So with DNA based cloning we can expect them to soon be roaming the streets of Toronto?

@cfjk--I would assume the newly cloned mammoths will be right at home in the Florida Everglades.

@LP: As a child I remember seeing many Montrealers roaming the beaches and frolicking in the surf of Sunny Isles, so yea, why not?

Enough about a 30K year old frozen Willy Mammoth, a nice change of pace to an important discussion about The Beatles and lyrics which make no sense.

Go to about 4:50 in to listen to an important discussion about Beatles song lyrics. This guy is pretty good.
