In the judge's defense, the judge was no doubt just doing research to be able to better relate to the poeple about to be sentenced in that court.

Since the judge has such a large caseload, his DWI will be postponed until sometime after the next election.

Imagine having to appear before the judge that replaced you.
Of course (and unfortunately) if anyone knows all the loopholes for getting out of this sort of thing, it is probably this guy!
