Most people associate alligators with Florida but the American Crocodile resides in the Sunshine State too.

This looks more like the American Croc to me. Snout looks a little to slender for the gator, and has that knob on the end that's more characteristic of the croc.
Anyway, it would appear the croc wants to enlist. The Navy already has dolphins, so why not a croc? It would make a formidable weapon.
