It's National Columnists Day.

Wasn't this predicted by TomWolf in 'The Write Stuff'?

Thank you for your service.

The parades are hard to see as they're only 7 inches long.

I would make the title of the celebration singular, because the only one worth reading is Dave.

National communists day !? No, wait... Damn you, Spellcheck !

Being a columnist is a demanding job. They have the dreaded deadlines to meet and be accurate and truthful, or as we know, really good at poking good-natured fun at real news in trying times. Kudos to Dave and others who put smiles on many faces on a daily basis. Y'all are needed now more than ever.

It's also Dingus Day! Happy shmingus-dingus, coincidence? I think NOT!

Barry's Column

We have competition for the date -- all the parades are for National Animal Crackers Day. FDR's fingerprints are all over this one.

From nationally syndicated newspaper columnist to best selling book author...

It's also National Lineman Appreciation Day.

Many thanks to our fearless leader: Dave!
(and his son, Rob, too)

Dave is being equated with Ernie Pyle. The apocalypse is near.

That’s not a parade; they’ve got torches and pitchforks and tar and feather pillows. Run!!!

Our comment section will just have to do as your ticker tape parade, Dave, unworthy as it is for someone so greatly appreciated!
