It makes sense. A car is just a couch on wheels going 75 mph.

This should be mandatory viewing.

Finally, there is nothing worse than being distracted from watching your favorite TV program while you're forced to drive the car.

Since a wreck won't be your fault, everybody will be claiming their car is self-driving. And if *they're* not actually driving it, that'll be right! What a great way to get out of a ticket.

Nothing can go wrong. Go wrong. Go wrong. Go wrong.

Watch, some ga-ny-us will blame the vertical hold for the reason his car rolled over, let's just hope he isn't driving a beer truck.

If the self-driving mode is voice controlled, I see trouble brewing. A man is happily driving on the Interstate watching a movie when he looks up and sees both lanes on the road ahead have been blocked by a big wreck.

"Alexa! Stop the car now!"

"I'm sorry, Dave, but I can't do that."

"OH Sh----

I'm reminded of people on a plane who's landing gear didn't come down, watching their plight on their phones. Hopefully the TV will function in the car after a wreck so you can watch how it happened while trapped in your car.
