STILL BETTER THAN A PLEDGE DRIVE

Owners of older Mazda vehicles in the Seattle, Washington area have come across a weird issue with their cars: if they tune their radio into the local National Public Radio (NPR) affiliate, KUOW on 94.9 FM, their GPS, backup camera, and infotainment system stops working, and they can’t change the dial back to any other station.

2014 to 2017 is "older?" The cars in question are between five and eight years old. Sure, they're not new, but still.

This is old news here in Roswell, New Mexico as it's rather common in many areas, has been this way since 1947.

Looks like the squirrels are ratcheting up the pressure.

I blame Puzzle Master Will Shortz.

But now they can make fart sounds at pedestrians. Decent tradeoff.

Whenever that happens, do not, I repeat, DO NOT, turn on the windshiled washer&wipers!!!

Getting In Tune

Did the New York Times buy the station ? That might explain any screw ups.
