And he did what the great Yardbirds couldn't --- charted with Allen Toussaint's "A Certain Girl".

Warren is the musician of my adolescence whom I miss the most. Keep Me in Your Heart.

" he learned so much about music from me and Steve King "
As the Beatles might have if they hadn't gone their separate ways so early on.

We went to check out Lee Ho Fook ("walking through the streets of Soho in the rain") and they had the sleeve of EXCITABLE BOY (with a reprint of the lyrics of "Werewolves of London") pasted in the window. We did not get a big dish of beef chow mein but the food was good. Sadly, it closed in 2008.
I'm sure Warren knew "Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead."

If you look closely, magnification is a wonderful, usful thing, you will see Dave's black, maple neck Stratocaster was made in ...M-E-X-I-C-O!
Maybe I better go with him next time He picks out a guitar. I could point him the right direction as to recognizing the country of origin. Also, a reminder the strings positioned an inch from the frets is not considered 'good action'.
