Probably just for renovations (given the plandemic and all).

There is an old saw that this country's leaders must have missed:

"It's like shutting the barn door after the cow has gotten out."

If anyone has any dangerous rings or other cursed items that require disposal, you better hurry to toss them in before the gates close.

That will leave only the Garden State Parkway.

Thus ending the only case where a hellhole country could call itself a hellhole country and actually attracts visitors by doing so.

History tells us Turkmenistan is taking the wrong tact and passing up a chance to make a few bucks. The pragmatic folks of Ft. Worth, Texas, gave Hell an entire half-acre and it was a profitable enterprise and tourist attraction for many years. Many famous Old West characters such as Wyatt Earp, Butch Cassidy, The Sundance Kid and others enjoyed visiting the place.

^5 @Math-Yoda Baggins!

Also, honorable mention to Poet-Yoda for the one about the cats. You are on quite the literary roll today.
