An unreliable source has informed me that the words in the law that say: "right & left turn signals" will be replaced with the phrase: "Republican & Democrat directional indicator marker lights", but the bill is held up in committee over the proper replacement words for tail, parking, head, high-beam/low beam, fog, four-way flashers & brake lights.

This jerk should have grown up in northern Wisconsin before turn signals were invented. We cranked down the window, summer and winter, to stick our arm out to signal -- straight out for left, bent at the elbow for right. It irks me that many modern drivers can't even lift the finger it takes to turn on an electronic signal. Increase the fine for not signaling before left hands atrophy entirely! (I'll get back on the geezer bus now.)

This must be a millennial thing!
Millennials are already confused as to why they have so many fingers when they only need two thumbs. Maybe what they need is left & right turn emojis on their precious
Idiot phones.

I grew up in a time when we still had the draft. There was a lot of benefit to this. In the military there was little choice but to learn left from right and little things like standing for the National Anthem, saluting the flag and calling someone sir.

Now, if I could just remember where the geezer bus is parked...

Get rid of those pesky STOP SIGNS too!!!
The Constitution doesn't say anything about them!

You know who uses turn turn signals?

COMMIES!!

And are expiration dates REALLY needed?!?!

Also high beam dimmer switch, who needs one.

If you remember where you were the first time you heard this song and thought He was saying 'douche' and remembered only one in five women 15 to 44 years old in the U.S. do this, it was possibly just another rumor in the night.

Burt M - Commies only use the left turn signal.

A great way to increase fuel mileage and reduce consumption would be by make braking devices optional.

Speaking of laws, who the *HELL* is responsible for disabling the DVD player function on Windows Media Player. I spent two days troubleshooting why my Windows Media Player would not play a DVD. The I realized none of my Windows computers would play a DVD using Windows Media Player, WPM to you nerds.

Rumor. Ford has a massive recall to remove your turn signal and permanently set you headlight on high beam, Microsoft taking responsibility.

Oh, I can see you checking to see if your fully updated Windows 10 machine will play a DVD using WMP then realizing it won't, get this

And be happy about it.

I have a recurring thought some day I will drive around all day and night, including rush hour, in the passing lane with my left turn signal on, high beams on, at a rate of speed not exceeding 26 miles an hour. All while holding my cell in front of my face simulating texting. And *REALLY* taking my time to navigate four way stop signs. Also, double park a lot with emergency flashers in front of apartment buildings.

I guess my former (idiot) brother in law was ahead of his time on this one. He told his (then) wife, "Never use your turn signal. It's a sign of weakness."

Of course, this is the same guy who almost cut his arm off by using a chain saw one-handed.

@ Man Tom Install VLC Media player. It's free and has a load of goodie features.

Hello Guy - I recently built a new PC for mrs. man tom. We have numerous business computers I have built over the years which we use daily, but her personal PC had some hardware problems and it was time for a new one. I already had all the parts to build her a new modern PC. A few days after she started using the new PC She said a DVD movie would not play. I noticed Windows Media Player was not an option to play a DVD, WPM will play a CD, music, but not a DVD. I troubleshot for hours. Then I realized none of my Windows PC's would no longer play a DVD via Windows Media Player, (WMP). Funny because I often watched DVD's on WMP in the past. Somewhere along the line M$ discontinued the ability of WMP to play a DVD. I have used and known about VLC player for many years. I have now installed VLC on all the home computers and will do so at the office, too.

Yesterday mrs. man tom didn't speak to me for several hours. She was watching Phantom of the Opera on VLC. Gerard Butler, I'm starting to dislike him.

@man tom

“All day, all night, Cary Grant
All I hear from my wife is Cary Grant
What can he do that I can’t?
Big deal, big star, Cary Grant”

@madhatter

Oh, dream maker, you heart breaker
Wherever you're goin', I'm goin' your way

I can not compete.

When I'm feelin' romantic, as opposed to Andy, I put this on.

I foolishly read the article all the way to the end. At the very end there is a statement from the lawmaker. It seems there are two separate and slightly conflicting laws regarding turn signal usage in Indiana. He wants to get rid of one of them to make the law clearer. This would appear (to me anyway) to be a good thing. Just not as sensational as the headline would have us believe. Viva Senator Freeman!

Anything that is not used for 20 years is clearly not needed. Extra car parts included.

Also save the cost of refilling the blinker fluid.
