U.S. freight forwarder Flexport Inc. will help fly three planes loaded with potatoes to Japan, where a shortage of spuds has caused McDonald’s in the country to ration french fries.

Rationing french fries? Oh the humanity!

Emergencies such as this are the reason I donate to Fry Cooks Without Borders.

They could just air drop them over each Mickey D's in a "Fries From the Skies/ Spuds4Buds" marketing campaign.

This is just another example of the Isaho Potato Grower's Association's quest for world dominance!
(Let's see if the North Koreans can intecept one.)

We note that the 747 cargo models' cargo capacity is around 250K pounds.

Let them eat onion rings!

Kinda reminds me of the story of the ship carrying a load of mayonnaise to Mexico. Unfortunately, the ship sank before reaching port.

Hence the holiday Cinco do Mayo.
