Actually, it has some sort of fatal disease. It's owners hope for a cure in the future, so they had it frozen.
And when that day arrives when there is a cure, the hamster will be decrypted...

Here at Geezer Acres in Roswell, NM, we had a hamster we thought could predict cryptocurrencies, or at least which bar had the best happy hour. Unfortunately, the managers cat ate him before we found out if he was another Mr. Groxx or not.

Clearly his handlers don't have children. Mr. Goxx was only napping. Pining for the fjords. He'll be fine, and he looks pretty much the same as before.
