I remember a TV show, likely back in the 1960's, where a network began televising executions. It was a huge hit and became so popular that laws were changed to make it easier to have people to execute. It came to where running a stop sign garnered you a starring, but brief, role on primetime television.
Of course, this was fiction and could never happen...right?
