FLORIDA EDUCATORS OF THE WEEK SO FAR

Two newly hired physical education teachers at a Florida elementary school were arrested after the shooting of a man whose apartment they entered thinking it belonged to someone else following a night of drinking.

A Mistake Anyone Could Have Made: One of the teachers mistakenly climbed into bed with the man, his wife and their baby, and the other teacher went to the bathroom before the male occupant of the house escorted them out. The teachers believed they had entered the apartment of one of their friends.

CA has a lot of unanswered questions but does reluctantly concede FL has taken the lead on incidents where a couple of drunk gym teachers with guns shoot a guy sleeping in bed with his wife and kid after climbing in bed with them. CA reminds FL, "we are still have more significantly stupid high ranking people in office than you do."

The two Florida used to be PE teachers learned it's not wise to have more than 10 tequila shots with lime slice on school nights. Also, packing a gun is not a wise move, especially when you are drunk as a waltzing piss ant.

It appears that Florida man is now starting to organize into teams. This is not a good day for Florida woman.

Wouldn't it be great if everyone involved became best friends ?

In they're defense, they are newly hired, so obviously they're still working out a few kinks in their lesson plan, and while they still may have a lot to learn, they seem to have learned their lesson, bringing to mind the old saw: Those who can, do. Those who can't teach".

They were PE teachers. You expected sound judgements from them?

cfjk: "And those who can't teach, teach teachers."

@PB: Like most PE teachers hearing them say "Take a few extra laps" might be even more ominous than usual.
