The gates are to keep them in the community, yes?

"Rodents of unusual size? I don't believe they exist."

"Capybaras....why did it have to be capybaras..." Indiana Jones.

As long as they have flasks of brandy strapped to their necks, who cares?

As long as they're not messing with mailboxes or front door colors, the homeowner association sees no problem.

There's an ancient folk tale involving Hatto II, the archbishop of Mainz, Germany. The short version: there was a famine. Hatto had all the grain in church warehouses. The people complained. He said: meet me at the empty barn. They went inside, he locked them inside and burned it (and them) to the ground. He ended up dying when (presumbably hungry) mice swam across the river to his tower and ate him alive. https://www.wikiwand.com/en/Mouse_Tower

Sounds like Hatto II could have used a couple of Catto.

Capybaras taste like chicken.

Floridians have learned to live and play with oversized rodents...

I saw "The Capybaras" open for Herb Alpert.
