The hunt for New Zealand's worst-ever city slogan is nearing its end, and it's looking like Hutt Valley is the town to beat.

So is it: "Hutt Valley, we're nearing our own end and we really can't distinguish it from a hole in the ground"?

Judging by this song, Hutt Valley is a hole in the ground...

The worst town slogan I know of isn't in New Zealand, but a small, largely unknown, small town in Oregon Stephen King wrote about named "Rock and Roll Heaven." The slogan was: "You Know They Have A Hell of a Band."

I believe the story ended with two newcomers talking:

"Rock And Roll Will Never Die."
"That's what I'm afraid of."

I really expected "Get your butt to Hutt"

Chicago, Chicago...

Come for the crime.
Stay for the funeral!

Hut Valley, it's not Uranus, but it's darn close!

New York, New York...

Guns don't kill people.
We kill people.

Los Angeles...

You Have the Right to Remain Silent.
You Have the Right to an Attorney

Sinking - Like A Rock!

Miami - Coke Is It!

New Orleans - Whatever Floats Your Boat!

San Francisco- Sh*ttin' On The Dock Of The Bay.

San Francisco Option 2 - I Left My Fart In San Franciso.

Washington D.C. - Give us all your income. All your hugs & kisses too!

Hutt Valley: "Perfectly safe, because Jabba's dead, you know."

Or maybe: "Giant worm capital of NZ."
