TO GET TO THE OTHER FRIED

Police caught a chicken strutting outside a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant in Midland, Mich. Friday morning.

(Thanks to Kevin Meerschaert, who says "Undercooked poultry can be dangerous.")

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bucket?

The strutting fowl was likely a Judas chicken. Colonel Sanders started using hens to attract and keep the 'supply' in line until they were needed in the kitchen. Old hens are never fried, just stewed in good chianti out of respect for their years of loyal service.

I say, I say that's one smart, educated chicken that transferred from Perdue to Cluck U and lives to flock another day.

Escapee from a Cluster Pluck, no doubt.

CLM demonstration

The chicken was strutting because it was being egged on by the gathering crowds, which left the po-po with egg on their faces as they revealed themselves to be the top of the pecking order leaving said chicken no longer cock of the walk. More from the chicken feed market report at the ten O'clock update.

The one that got away!

How many chickens could a chicken plucker pluck if a chicken plucker could pluck chickens??
