Study shows why beer mats do not fly in a straight line

Next they'll look at why beer drinkers do not walk in a straight line.

It's the same reason that beer-goggles make everyone better looking.

We had a local scientist here in Flathead County who spent a lot of time studying beer mats. Fun guy to be around, we hope he will be released from the Flathead Mental Health Center someday.

Now we'll need a study to find out who in the world calls a coaster a "beer mat". And why.

Everyone I know (all 12 of them) call them "coasters" or "dew retainers" (BTW no one calls them "dew retainers")

Potential Ig Nobel Prize winning research.
