How did he a) think to look there and 2) actually look there

Well, Dave, that depends upon your perspective. For the man, yes. For the ladybug, not so much.

Sounds like Uranus was in retrograde.

How do they know the bug is a lady? I didn't know CT scanners showed enough detail to check out the undercarriage of a bug.

Would you call it symbiosis, or more of an assisted living situation, and did he discover it while looking for his gerbil?

How the heck did the ladybug wind up there? Took a wrong turn at Uranus?

Was he looking for something else?
