What are the odds, that this raffle in Mexico will be legit?

Here in Flathead County, most of us will spend the $12.50 on Mexican food carryout and eat it to mariachi music. Not the same atmosphere as Mexico, but having no one shooting at you makes up for that.

"The winner of the raffle will be announced on September 15, the day before Mexican Independence Day."

I thought Mexican Independence Day was May 5th.

The raffle is run by a government branch, called the Institute to Give Back to the People the Stolen (INDEP). These “prizes” are confiscated items from criminals, drug members, gangs, etc., that the Mexican government now owns.

INDEP would like to remind everyone there is an ever growing inventory of confiscated items available and to root for Mexico's Olympic team going for the gold, silver, bronze, lead, tin, old car batteries, copper pipes and any old refrigerators

Steverino--It's easy to get holidays mixed up in Mexico. September 16 is Mexican Independence Day. May 5th. or Cinco de Mayo is a national day of mourning to remember the long awaited shipment of Hellman's Mayo that sunk on this day before reaching the Mexico port. The mayo was a new sensation and the sinking of the ship carrying it from hitting an iceberg was terrible. I hope this clears things up.

...and the guard at the front gate plus the rest of the 'HOA Security Team' will cost you over $1-million per year.
