The duck was just trying to even-out his suntan and dry off his undercarriage.

Things like this happens when birds such as ducks and geese still insist on navigating using the rapidly changing magnetic North instead of going with GPS.

Flathead County Sheriff’s and Kalispell Police Reports

July, 20 2021

4:31 PM: Two meth addicts and a drunk saw a whiffling goose fly by. The drunk stated, "I'll never touch the stuff again." While one of the meth addicts broke into a business the other pooed on the lawn and exclaimed, "get a good whiffling of that."

How do we know the photographer wasn't upside down?

Soon to be an Olympic demonstration sport.

Old Chinese saying: Duck who fly upside-down have quack up.

This reminds me of an old cartoon with two ducks flying together, one on top of the other with the caption "Fly United." Maybe she was waiting for her partner.
