A reliable source has informed me locals will not dare to harm or dissuade the monkeys from carrying on with business as usual because they believe the monkeys are disciples of God. Which coincidentally is the same belief most elected California officials have regarding the status of meth-addicted homeless individuals who poo on your lawn.

Considering how much trouble 12 monkeys caused Bruce Willis in a movie, I shudder to think of what a ruckus hundreds of monkeys could cause.
