In his defense, he was just following orders

I think he's broken the Treaty of Versailles.

"The items were removed from a house in the northern town of Heikendorf in 2015 with the help of the army."

Hmm. By my calendar, the current year is 2021.

Slow-moving news (snooze) day?

The neighborhood watch patrol will never be as much fun.

It took about 20 soldiers almost nine hours to extract the Panther tank -- which was without its tracks -- from the residential property and push it onto a low-loader for transportation.

Still less hassle than parents extracting their deadbeat kid from the basement.

Prosecutors and defense lawyers are also negotiating what to do with the pile of sticks and rocks the pensioner kept thrown by the armies of most countries in Europe to fight the tank with.

So... he was depanthered?

The Panther
By Ogden Nash

The panther is like a leopard,
Except it hasn't been peppered.
Should you behold a panther crouch,
Prepare to say Ouch.
Better yet, if called by a panther,
Don't anther.

A poem inspired by William Blake, abridged with apologies.--L.P.

Tiger tiger burning bright
In the Black Forest at night
what immoral hand or eye
could face thy fearful symmetry
in what furnace was thy born
or dare it's deadly terrors grasp
tiger tiger, you'll burn bright
in the Black Forest some night.

Since we don't have basements in Texas, I guess I'd have to park mine in the driveway. Probably would have prevented my mailbox from being smashed up a couple of week back....

The Panther song.

Great post man tom!

Here's the answer for the 'woke' cities... aka "Urban Renewal"

My Vic Morrow look.

I love it when lawyers wrangle.
