One test is If the bear scat smells like pepper spray it indicates there is a missing hunter or hiker in that area.

Urban dictionary defines "scat" as any sexual act involving poo, which comes as a shock once you realize what all that scat singing was really all about.

My philosophy when it comes to 'scat' has and will always be: "Don't smell it, don't tell it".

I'm guessing that procuring a really fresh sample carries a certain risk.

Yukon bear scat -->
Outback yearns
Cyan outbreaks
Toucan's bakery
Croaky butanes
Baa runty Cokes
Yukon's cabaret

They lost me at the word, "volunteers".
