Not the usually furry thing one encounters when trying to stuff cash into another's drawers.

He does a good job keeping Boris Badinoff out.

Well, that's just nuts.

Some shining morning the store owner will find how the squirrels repays kindness when the finds the cash has been shredded to make a nest.

That's nucking futz.

The squirrel must be skimming from the till, probably to support his nut habit.

The plot thickens... Bullwinkle J. Moose shared a house with his best friend Rocket (Rocky) J. Squirrel in the small town of Frostbite Falls, Minnesota. Bullwinkle attended college at "Wossamotta U" on a football scholarship. He is a long-time supporter of the Bull Moose Party, and at one time was the part-owner, part-governor of the island of Moosylvania. Bullwinkle is shown at numerous times to be quite wealthy. As he often makes reference to having an Uncle Dewlap, who bequeathed Bullwinkle vast amounts of wealth, in the form of a cereal boxtop collection and an Upsidaisium mine. He also has a large petty cash stockpile hidden in his mattress that he accumulated "delivering newspapers". (Or from a close personal friend who has access to the cash assets of a large corporate finance department?)
