NASA sends squid from Hawaii into space for research

The most common complaint of crews on deep space missions:

"Not calimari for dinner AGAIN!"

Sounds like a low budget move to refill the ink in those space pens.

Haven't they seen enough old 1950s B movies to know that space squid are dangerous?!

Although the term doesn't appear in the article itself, I'm sure Astro-Squid WBAGNFARB.

Those squids are smarter than me. I have a problem with researching a TV Guide :(

What's so special about Hawaiian squid, or is it just sent from there?
