'The snakes will follow': Ominous sequel to NSW mouse plague

Several years ago, we experienced abnormally high rainfall that caused rat infestations around the whole of North Texas. All the stores had rat poison displays right up front by the check out registers. And after months of an exploding rodent population, we had higher than normal numbers of the animals that prey on them: snakes and hawks or kites. That was a very bad year.

So, for the sake of humanity, keep your toilet lids down, please.

MOTW, you mean like this year? I see a big wooden boat with what looks like a bunch of animals in it going across the lake....

Just in time for Passover. However, I don't think mice and snakes were part of the big 10.
