I'll drink to that!

Only way to save the newspaper industry is to carry our intrepid columnists daily column (and of course, Judi).

Who wouldn't want to subscribe to an online liquor store, and how many free nips can you get before you have to go behind the paywall?

I wonder what would have happened if they'd had one of these at The Miami Herald back in the 1980s?

Wouldn't a catfish farm have been more appropriate?

Another solution?

Now if those folks had a barn close by where they could put in a whiskey still, they would have a legal front cover and profitable operating base to start with.

Add in the whiskey distilling business and they could build an empire. Hey, it worked for Al Capone.

Of course, in my limited newspaper experience, many editors would drink up the profits.

Editorials authored by Jack Daniels.

Flathead County will have those as soon as they start selling newspapers.

pradraig--We have a newspaper building with all needed equipment. All we need is someone who knows how to use a linotype. Applications are accepted now (and have been for the past 40 years)
