In his defense, since when did multi-tasking become a crime? It's not like he was driving, at worst he's guilty of being over scheduled.

Give that surgeon a break. At least he wasn't flying around the operating room on a hoverboard while playing Candy Crush on his phone and taking a videoconference call all while using a scalpel to cut on a patient.
Or at least you can't see hoverbord on the video.
