When I lived in Galveston, a running debate centered around the best way to clean the beach tar off your feet. I don't recall anybody championing mayo. The stuff with the most supporters was Pond's cold cream. I did think it worked best, but you had to use so much of it that we just stopped trying to clean the tar off at all. It would wear off in a couple of days anyway.

I think fried turtle would taste better served with mayonnaise than crude oil...what was the question?

Turtles are not kosher with or without mayo.

The reason turtles are endangered is because people cut off their necks to use for clothing.

Couldn't you just skim the oil off of the soup once it boils?
