Happy New Year !

Looking forward to sharing 2021 with all yawl, so like Dave's graphics imply: "PLAN AHEAD"

Sophie is going to be at least 35 when the "Have Joy" sign is (eventually) hung up at her wedding.....

cfjk - that's "all y'all". The possessive is "all y'all's".

Best wishes to everyone for a happy, healthy, and prosperous 2021.

Thanks to Dave for hosting this sane little corner of the world where we can gather and share a chuckle about the insanity that surrounds us.

Happy New Year everybody!

My New year resolution - no more bat soup. It was my mistake, sorry for the trouble it might have caused.

Ode to 2020
thy may be gone, but never forgotten
Your stay was really quite rotten
people were coughing and squirrels attacking
hugs and kisses garnered a ticket
visiting town was a bit of sticky wicket
going into a store or a bank without wearing a mask
was a 911 risk
lockdowns became worse to endure than lockjaw
Taverns were boarded up and restaurants went broke
2020 thy was one rotten, infected, rancid bloke
May 2021 arrive as a soothing balm of Preparation H
And people in bars singing 'Happy Days are here again'
and a rousing HAPPY NEW YEAR to y'all

May 2021 arrive as a soothing balm of Preparation H
That needs to be a bumper sticker, that does.

Have much joy to y'all.

An ode to 2020... The Musical.

Along with almost all other humans on this planet, I wish all y'all a very happy new year.

Last year’s resolution: avoid negative people.

This year’s resolution: avoid positive people...

...except maybe here.

Best wishes to you all as you strive on, encouraging others along the way.

Happy New Year to all of you!

AAAArrghh! Why, WHY, if SyFy is going to bother showing Twilight Zone reruns, do they have to chop them up like a steer in a butcher shop? It's an hour into the new year and already I am wound up. I think I'll have another glass of whiskey and watch my own marathon from the DVDs.

Happy New Year, everyone!

A happy and healthy new year to Dave and his family and all of my blog friends! Thank you so much Dave for doing this for us all. I remember the weeks of daily open threads you created (and tolerated) to help us get through the lockdown, fear and isolation. That’s a loving heart. God bless you and all the blogsters.

Thank you Dave - your doses of off beat insanity are like the tranquility of noise canceling headphones in the hectic cacophony of blaring incoherence we call life.

Sorry for the yawl, but in my defense, that's how it sounds with my "Damn Yankee" accent. HAPPY 2021! & let the good times roll.

Happy New Year to all you Katie Perry blog folks and here's wishing each and every one of you 'Katiemaniacs' many more. I'm sure this New Year will bring each of us a year filled with luck and good fortune. I'll need it to win this pony. I sent in my post card Jan. '56 and still manage to keep my hopes up of winning. P.S. Katie I LUV U.

On a serious note, here's a resolution to consider.

Be soft. Do not let the world make you hard. Do not let pain make you hate. Do not let the bitterness steal your sweetness.

Did that pony lick Miss Lois?

Happy New Year.

Happy New Year to everyone!

Put me on a rocket ship
And send me to the stars
I’ll see what spring is like
On Jupiter and Mars

I’ll ask my brother Aquarius
To serve the galactic wine
I’ll drink it from the dipper
I’m feeling more than fine

Soon I’ll find a place
Where peace and love abide
Everyone is your friend
And laughter fills the skies

Alas I’m here back on earth
Where hate and fear abide
here’s Dave we’re filled with mirth
2020? Just let it slide.

Happy new year, everyone

Happy New Year to all! Dave, you and all the crazy BlogFolk herein have contributed mightily to my more than surviving last year. I am eternally grateful.

Hindsight is 2020 (I borrowed that one).

Let 2020 be out of sight, out of mind...

In other words: invisible insanity.
