Constant playing of "Copacabana" is a hanging offense in Texas.

They only planned for it to play for three hours, but encountered a problem and it lasted three years instead.

The judge could have ruled that the Gilligan's Island theme song is not compliant with Orange County / Laguna Beach COVID-19 rules.
It matters not if the Ship's Mate is a mighty sailing man or that the Skipper is brave and sure. During Covid-19 restrictions five passengers would be four over the limit - no more than three unrelated households are permitted to gather.
The S.S. Minnow could not be chartered this day or any other day for a three hour tour - gatherings shall be limited to 2 hours.
The tour would have to consist of the Skipper, Gilligan and just one of the passengers. It could not be one of the Howell's because they are a couple, that leaves Ginger, Mary Ann or the Professor. I don't think that any television network would pick up that show for even one season.

The judge failed to rule on the most important legal issue: Ginger or Mary Ann?
