That odd little laptop-sized electric scooter from Japan is now going global

On the plus side, it should be easy to parallel park, but a real bear to attach the tags.

I could see toting my laptop around on this. Me not so much.

Because walking is just too much of a bother.

This electric scooter is rated by personal injury lawyers as a #1 best buy.

Also, it would be a perfect gift for that hard to please mother-in-law.

When you’re commuting on the physical equivalent of a bathroom scale, any extra stability is likely appreciated.

Mother-in-law: "What's this .. you're giving me a bathroom scale, Le Pet?"
No, of course not. Turn it over. See the wheels?
MiL: "Ohh .. um."
It's a Walkcar. It's all the rage overseas.

There is a petition to require charging station every two miles.
