Crews vacuum 'murder hornets' out of Washington nest

What sort of milquetoast scientists do they have in Washington State? A flame thrower would have done a better job and been far more entertaining.

Sounds like just another politically motivated USG sting operation to me.

I wonder if the radiation suits at Hanford are as good as the ones these folks were wearing.

It is interesting that they attached a tracking device to a captured hornet using dental floss. That hornet led the Washington State Agriculture Department team back to the nest. Earlier attempts to glue the tracking device to the hornet were unsuccessful. They should have tried bubble gum; maybe bee's wax.
