In the snakes defense he thought it was Florida, or the flying squirrels are using the snakes for a false flag attack.

If snakes start flying in Australia, they'll have to evacuate the country.

We know this wasn't Australia because the snake was non-venomous.

"Largely" non-venomous? Well, no, it's *completely* non-venomous.

But less sensational, I guess, so it needed some exaggeration.

Rod Nunley brings up a good point. Some snakes are slightly venomous. The hognose found up here in IN is such a snake. Basically harmless to humnas, but it does have some venom.
