I don't know about security, but one of those things flying around your house would send any dog or cat on a mission to catch and destroy.

Wouldn's it more sense for it to be flying around outside your house?

I recently heard someone reverse an old adage by saying that “Invention is the mother of necessity.” Before some bored (and, most likely, boring) engineer invented this gizmo, I’m fairly sure no one was aching to possess a drone that could fly around the inside of his or her home while the family was away. And yet, now that it has been invented, thousands of people will decide it is a necessity they can’t live without.
Perhaps another adage has no need to be reversed: “A fool and his money are soon parted.”
