I thought they call them the "High Holidays" because everyone sat around in Temple and smoked dope.

L'shanah Tovah, everyone.

(RIP Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Thank you for always fighting the good fight.)

I real Member of the Tribe once told me I was cheap enough for honorary membership.

I was so proud.

Oh, and raising a Mogen David (or something a bit stronger) to the Notorious RBG. It's a sad day.

My parents had a reel-to-reel tape with a version of Auld Lang Syne that went...

"There was a man whose name was Lang
He had a neon sign
Now Mr. Lang was very old
So they called it Old Lang's Sign"

Here in Japan we are enjoying the Silver Week holiday, which includes Respect for the Aged Day on the 21st. Geezers of the tribe, hold your head high!

And off everyone goes for Chinese food. ( No wait. That's that other holiday ).
