They could have taken those parrots, stuffed them and nailed'em to branches and tell visitors they were exhausted from pining for the fjords and just resting.

Kudos to MOTW! I'd pay to see these parrots with their "fowl" language. I know that parrots aren't considered fowl but I wanted to put it there anyway.
