They're about to have their attention diverted from the feud in a couple of days. The Great Spirit is displeased, and is sending a message to Nova Scotia. It's called Teddy.

They should make the combatants duke it out in a wading pool full of melted butter, toasted bread crumbs, and cheesy bisquits, and their only weapons should be nut crackers and tiny forks.

This all started back when one side's boat "The Hatfield" collided with the the other side's boat, "The McCoy" while fighting over a lobster trap. They have been snipping at each other ever since.
