This is a short video of a trainee at China's Naval Aviation University failing to get his grenade over the hill and his instructor having to grab him and roll them both into a foxhole to avoid the explosion.

This is a great training video of how NOT to throw a grenade.

At first, I thought it was a Twins pitching staff tryout.

There are quite a few online. Here's a compilation of ten, enough for a whole Orioles pitching staff. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sqTIFpxUIIM

And mortar fails. The first one in this compilation is very good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q0IHe7H2QCM

(*adds "get his grenade over the hill" to list of sexual euphemisms*)

"OK cadet. You will have to toss another grenade to pass the course. I'll be watching you with binoculars from a bunker. Try, really, really try, not to mess this one up."

There has to be a terrific joke involving horseshoes and hand grenades here, but I’ll be darned if I could think of one.

"Hell ya Sarge, I love this part of the training!" he said with blasting anticipation

"Two lambs & a horse walk into a bar and order a couple of Handgrenades with a pull, the rest is history!" say Tom the barkeep rather sheepishly explaining to why there are four horshoes nailed to the wall.

And this is who we're supposed to be afraid of fighting?

Rejected "Beetle Bailey" storyline.
