With rare exception (read: Dave), I'm not sure it would make much difference these days. The news people have gotten pretty robotic.

I replaced Microsoft with Apple a few years ago. In fact it was about the time Windows 10 came out and my computer kept wanting to update itself.

I replaced Microsoft with Apple years ago. No regrets.
All media is facing this. Radio has done this for some time. In a failed effort to stave off bankruptcy, both Cumulus and iHeartRadio laid off hundreds of folks and replaced them with automation. Hal will be doing all media before you know it.

I replaced my PC with a Mac back in 1984, and I've never regretted it. As for journalists, I've never believed much of what Microsoft says, so this could be a positive step.
