I've encountered a few beaver in my lifetime that snapped like an alligator. Scary.

Even in Canada some people never get out of the city, and Brampton's population is more than 50% Asian, so live beavers are not familiar to many residents. She probably knows what a pigeon and a squirrel look like, but a beaver is too exotic.
How many New Yorkers would recognize a swimming beaver?

It's tough to mistake a hat for luggage.

I fully expected a video of a swimming beaver. DISAPPOINTED!

Thanks for that laugh. Glad I didn't have anything in my mouth when I read that. Hilarious!
