Police said a Florida man dialed their department to report he was being shot at by the man he had just robbed and stabbed.

Operator (in a mechanical voice)-

"Thank you for calling. Your call is very important to us and it will be answered in the order in which it was received. To expedite your call time, at the tone please leave your name, callback number and reason for calling. Please take time to be through. Again, we thank you for calling."

Policewoman who answered the phone:
"you know Sarge, it's times like these that can make you like this job."

Send him to the Yukon for the International Hair Freezing Competition.

He also killed his parents, then threw himself on the mercy of the court because he was an orphan, right?

In his defense, he didn't really stab him that hard!

Police are really there to keep criminals from being subject to summary judgment at the end of a rope.
