As an alum of Stop-and-Rob, I'm glad that there was a moment of family togetherness. Nowadays, you have to take what you can get. Or steal with a gun what you can get.

If you don't do things with your kids everybody says you're neglecting them. When you do activities with them suddenly everybody wants you arrested. You can't win for losing.

If she taught him how to drive, she could have stayed home and watched What Not to Wear.

Mom: "Remember, 'Please' and 'Thank You' to the bank clerk".

This is what happens when you don't support school bake sales.

She had to drive him - he was only 15.

I have to admit, if you showed me her picture and asked me her occupation, I'd come right out with Armed Robbery Getaway Driver.

This just shows how far removed we are from the Harper Valley P.T.A.

High five to Jeff!

All I can say is WTF? (Welcome to Florida)

It's always uplifting to see a parent take an active interest in the hobbies and activities of their children.

The second charge is total BS - she was watching over him every second. "Amanda Meador is being charged with robbery with a firearm and neglect of a child in connection to the robbery,"

In her mugshot she reminds me of Ma Barker who later became Public Enemy #1 back in the 1930's. That kid needs taken away from that woman before he breaks bad.

These "helicopter parents" have to back off and let their kids do these things for themselves.
How are they supposed to learn? In my day, if your mom helped you rob the store, you'd be the laughing stock in "Juvy"...And a MINIVAN?! Lord, why not put the boy in a dress and complete the shame?! Tsk, tsk...

Sorry to be a dissenter. Drugs will make folks do anything to get money for their fix.
