What will nursecindy do for New Year's Eve with no Possum Drop?

No Possum Drop in North Carolina? This is a national tragedy. What sacred traditions will be banned next? It might be possible that Flathead County could keep some traditions alive by dropping or flinging something to celebrate a New Year?
Anyone have any flinging, dropping or burning suggestions for Flathead County?

This is what happens when you put the rights of possums ahead of the rights of good, law-abiding citizens.

You can go to a Possum Drop in Tallapoosa, Ga.

Sounds like a real redneck new years.

I'm so glad they stopped the Possum Drop because I'm sick of hearing about it. No possums were ever harmed. I'll be waiting for a visit from the Cherryville Shooters! About a hundred guys congregate together, give their New Year's chant, and then all shoot their guns off to welcome the New Year! What could possibly go wrong?
Cherryville Shooters. I've seen them several times and they really are amazing. Not recommended viewing if you have a hangover. They're loud!

As Steve said, we still have the Possum Drop at Tallapoosa, a few miles from here.
Meanwhile here in downtown Dallas GA, we have the Silver Comet Drop.
