He couldn't figure out that to get down, you just moved the lever in the opposite direction from how you raised up?

Bird God? More like bird brain.

Police negotiator:

"Sir, we need you to come down. This crane is not the type of bird you were looking for. You wanted one with feathers and a halo. If you come down, we'll give you a nice chocolate bar and help you look for the holy bird."

FYI: That is not a crane.

There is no such thing as a steam shovel or a cinder block either. And there is only one "A" in masonry.
