Wasn't this a Night Gallery episode?

Why is it always China?

wanderer2575--You are correct, this was an episode of Night Gallery titled,I believe, "The Caterpillar." written by Rod Serling. The insect was called an earwig. This one was planted in the ear of a sleeping man and burrowed painfully through the man's brain over a period of days before finally crawling out the opposite ear. The man was apparently recovering with little damage. In the final scene, with a perfect Serling twist, tells the man the earwig had been a fertile female that laid eggs in his brain--and they were hatching.

They used a worm in Star Trek also.

And we're sending our good American pork to these people?

Why does it always have to be worms?

I remember that Night Gallery episode. (Shudders...)
