No sooner did the paper hit the stands, than the fallout began for our Downtown Courtenay Business Improvement Association ad promoting the events of Sunday, Dec. 1, stating “Pictures with Satan” would be available at 11:15.

I didn't realize Mr. Manilow was still doing meet-and-greet events.

Spell Check is evil.

Send those pictures out with the annual Christmas letter. That letter will be read.

You need to have been extra naughty for that.

Here's the ad.

Hey, it's Canada. Whoever made the ad probably thought it was for photos with former NHL player Miroslav Satan.

On the plus side, you probably won't have to wait in line nearly as long.

Kids, Satan has stepped out for a smoke break. Hell be right back,

Quick, plant an IUD to stop him!!

Until this bit of news, I did not fully realize that Santa and Satan are anagrammatical.
