This is why I love baseball! It's always fun unless you get your faced smashed by a 91 mph pitch and the umpire calls it a strike. As a matter of fact I am still mad at the umpire who made that awful call when the Brave's Charlie Culberson got hit last week. Why do you ask?

Of course, this was pure luck. Give him 1000 throws, and he could probably knock down the pyramid every time. But I guarantee he wouldn't be able to take just the top can off again.

In Texas, people have a more fun way to knock over beer can pyramids; It's called a shotgun.

Shotgun is too easy. Skyrockets are more fun.

A few years ago we and a couple friends drove down to Toledo, Ohio for a Mud Hens' (minor league) game. Didn't know they don't have separate bullpens in minor league stadiums; they have the warmup areas set up on the warning tracks. We had front row seats in right field, with the pleasure of 90+ mph fastballs whizzing by our faces as the relievers warmed up. I thought it was great. Definitely more exciting than the game.
