After my mother died, I had her mail forwarded to my address. Last year during open enrollment, I received 15 large postcards from a chain of care providers, all seeking her business. So I scanned them onto a PDF and sent a terse letter saying that given where my mom was, she was unable to "meet her health goals" and "make meaningful strides for a healthier lifestyle." In bold caps in the center of the letter, I said: SHE IS DEAD. IN THE NAME OF ALL THAT IS HOLY, REMOVE HER NAME & ADDRESS FROM YOUR SYSTEM AND DO NOT SEND THESE ANY MORE.
It worked.
