Passengers aboard a Newark-bound Spirit Airlines flight were in for a surprise during their journey on Wednesday when a bat appeared and flew back and forth through the cabin, causing chaos, confusion, and delight.

Passengers said when they landed the bat was carried away a nice young man named,"Robin."

Flying batless will cost you an extra $ 10.

The TSA, of course, is upset that the bat got past screeners, and will immediately be holding classes on how to grope bats. They already know how to grope other flying mammals.

Maybe it was an Emotional Support bat.

They could tell it was old if it said "Get off my lawn!"

Spirit airlines is known for charging passengers for any and all extra in-flight services and accommodations. If you looked up, saw the bat you were probably charged extra for the in-flight entertainment.

Surely we must honor such a "spirited" bat.
